Roberta's Castle Slots

Don’t you just love visiting castles? Steeped in history, packed with long-ago events and occasions, the average castle is a captivating place to be. Roberta doesn’t sound like the typical name for a queen or other member of a royal family though. So, perhaps this castle offers us a very different take on things? It does, and you might get a sense of familiarity when the game has loaded. That’s because the Roberta’s Castle slot game from Real Time Gaming is based on the story of Rapunzel, the woman with incredibly long hair that dangled out of the tower. Thus, this is a fairy tale themed 5-reel video progressive slot with bonus features from the Real Series lineup. Will it have a happy ending for you, we wonder?

Reels and Paylines

The game itself is a traditional one, with five reels giving rise to 20 paylines to start betting on.

Coin Values

If you’d like to cover all the lines for a small bet, a 20-cent bet is the smallest option to go for, with a cent per line in play (coins per line: 1). Alternatively, you could go up to five dollars per line to trigger the $100 total bet. Coin sizes range from $0.01 to $5.

Slot Symbols

Roberta’s Castle features symbols inspired by the fairy tale:

• Roberta (scatter symbol)
• Prince (wild symbol)
• Mirror
• Cat
• Scissors
• Brush for Hair
• 10, J, Q, K, A

Special Icons

Roberta appears as the scatter symbol. Find five of these anywhere in view in one spin and 250x your triggering bet will be yours. There is a wild here too, shown as the Prince. He carries a 2x multiplier with him to apply for anything won with his aid. If you get through to the free spins feature though (more about that in a moment), that multiplier climbs to a guaranteed 6x.

Game Features and Bonuses

As a progressive bonus slot in the Real Series, it offers exciting potential. Three or more appearances of Roberta on the reels will secure 15 free games for you to enjoy. While these are standard spins, the inclusion of that big wild multiplier does make things more interesting. It doesn’t seem possible to retrigger the games from this bonus though, so you must return to the regular game to try and win more.
